Getting Your Family Saved

Getting Your Family Saved
You can give up sin or you can give up Jesus.
You cannot do both. You cannot do neither.
–Daniel J. Dick

Pondering
Did you ever think about heaven and wonder what kind of crowns we would lay down at Jesus’ feet? Before He went to the cross, he wore a crown of thorns. But he took the crown of thorns and the cross for those He loved.

I think it is quite possible the most precious crowns of all will be loved ones!

How many crowns can we afford to throw away?

When you think about your loved ones, how many do you want saved? How many do you want lost forever?

Are your loved ones safe? If you got that dreaded phone call and learned they had died suddenly, would they go to heaven?

Are we concerned?

Is it possible for a person to be saved and not care whether his or her loved ones are saved?

What is the spiritual condition of your family?

Do you know?
Do you pray?
How important is their salvation to you? What would you sacrifice to see them saved?

Your own salvation?
Your life?
A little discomfort?
Do you invest more of your effort and prayers into your own salvation, your own life, your own comfort and convenience, or in the salvation of loved ones? This can tell us much about what is really important to us.

I really do not want to frighten or bully people into anything with guilt, but I do want to see people make it to heaven. Every day, Jesus Christ loses untold numbers of loved ones into the flames of hell forever, and all too often they are the loved ones of many of us who call ourselves Christians.

This does not have to happen.

Let’s commit ourselves never to make this tragic mistake ever again!

The great news about this is God has put us here for a purpose and chances are that neither you nor I are here by accident.

Let’s bathe this commitment and effort in prayer. We will need the Holy Spirit and God’s Word, the Bible, and we will need a testimony that comes out through our words and our actions.

So, let’s sign up and get started with the menu item above labeled “Getting Started”.

God bless your efforts and prayers in bringing salvation to your loved ones!
